The people of the Northwest Territories already know that we live in one of the most beautiful and unique places on earth. We want to share that with the rest of the world.
Here at home, we’ll be providing sport, recreation and learning opportunities for children and youth all across the NWT. With the excitement created by having the Games here in Canada, we’ll be taking the chance to encourage all our children to make healthy choices and teaching them about how active living can benefit every area of their lives. And by promoting leadership opportunities and pride in our communities and our cultures, we’ll be helping create a solid foundation for the leaders of tomorrow.
