The Intern Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) to communicate strategically and effectively with the goal of ensuring staff in the system and residents of the Northwest Territories have the information they need to ensure the best health, best care, and a better future.
Reporting to the Territorial Manager, Communications, the Intern Communications Coordinator will contribute to the development, implementation and assessment of a variety of PR and communication initiatives throughout the NTHSSA. This will include internal and external written communication affecting staff in the system and clients of the system.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
A post-secondary degree or diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, new-media studies, journalism or a related field.
This job opening is for a one (1) Year Term
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
The salary for this position starts at $33.44 per hour (approximately $65,208 per annum) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,450.
