Reporting to the Director of Education Operations and Development, this position is responsible for providing administration, communication, research, program development and delivery support to the Education Operations and Development Division.
This position ensures that professional principles, procedures and practices are applied to all assignments. This support is required for effective operations of the Division, including developing communication plans and providing research information and other information necessary to support legislation and policy development and delivery of programming in K-12 and Adult and Postsecondary Education in the Northwest Territories.
Typically these skills are normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, communication, Education or related areas of experience.
The Department of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) provides the residents of the Northwest Territories with access to quality programs, services and support to assist them in making informed and productive choices for themselves and their families with regard to education, training, careers, employment and labour, child development, languages, culture and heritage.

The salary for this position starts at $34.67 per hour (approximately $67,607 per annum) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,450.
