Under the direction of the Nurse in Charge (or Delegate), provides clerical and reception service for the Health Centre, as well as interpreter and translation services. The incumbent fulfills the position in accordance with the mission and policies of Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA).
The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) is the single provider of all health and social series in the Northwest Territories (NWT), with the exception of Hay River and Tlicho regions, covering 1.2 million square kilometers and serving approximately 43,000 people including First Nations, Inuit, Metis and non-aboriginals. Health and social services including family services, protection services, care placements, mental health, addictions, and developmental activities by more than 1,400 health and social services staff
Typically the above qualifications would be attained by: Reading and Writing at Grade 10 level or above. First Aid and CPR certificates. Aboriginal Language of South Slavey is required.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
The salary range for this position is from $28.97 per hour to $34.57 per hour (approximately $56,491. - $67,411.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $9,772.
