Department Information

The South Slave Education Council is looking for positive and committed educators capable and willing to embrace the implementation of three key priorities/iniatives in the South Slave schools and classrooms:  literacy, numeracy and social responsibility.

Princess Alexandra School (PA) is a Grade 4-7 middle school with 160 students located in Hay River. They are dedicated to the development of the whole child; and children learn in a safe and caring environment that is culturally responsive. Term Position

This job opening is for a 1 Year Term at the commencement of the 2019 - 2020 school year. 


Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Salary Information

Salary is pro-rated dependent on verified education and experience (ranging from $78,600 to $126,897 per annum) plus an annual pro-rated Northern Allowance based on the NWTTA Collective Agreement.


Eligibility lists may be created from this competition to fill future term and indeterminate positions.
