The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services (NTHSSA) in the Yellowknife region is seeking a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner.
Nurse Practitioners are important members of a team working out of the Primary Care Centre that includes physicians, midwives, public health, nurse and mental health and addictions practitioners that provide programs and services in the communities of Dettah, Fort Resolution, Lutselk'e, Ndilo and Yellowknife. This position is based in Yellowknife with limited to no travel to the outlying communities.
In this role you will be responsible for providing clients with advanced health assessment, diagnosis, interventions and appropriate follow up to ensure NWT residents receive a high quality of health care.

To be successful in this role we are looking for candidates certified as a nurse practitioner and two years of directly related experience.
This role is located in Yellowknife, a city situated on the Canadian Shield on the shores of Great Slave Lake, the tenth largest lake in the world. The salary range for this position is from $55.76 per hour to $66.61 per hour (approximately $108,732 - $129,890.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
