Regional Clinical Supervisor, Mental Health and Addiction Services

As the Regional Clinical Supervisor, Mental Health and Addiction Services, you will be providing functional and clinical direction for the Community Counselling Program Counselling staff (10 + Child and Youth Care Counsellors) in the Yellowknife region in order to enhance their professional functioning and to monitor and coordinate the quality of professional services offered to individuals, families, and communities. As the successful applicant, you will have the skills to provide service for various cultural groups, which includes serving a diverse population of children, adolescents, and families and also provide advanced clinical counselling and therapeutic services for residents of the Yellowknife region as required.
To be successful in this role, we require the successful completion of a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Clinical Social Work with a minimum of 3 (three) years of relevant clinical supervision. As the incumbent, you must have experience pertaining to counselling program design, program evaluation, and outcome measurement. You must also have relevant supervisory experience in counselling related to child, youth, and adult mental health, addictions, concurrent disorders, and family violence. Your education or work experience should include at least 800 documented clinical supervision hours with a senior level Clinical Supervisor, where at least 400 hours is direct clinical supervisor with supervisees. Advanced post-graduate education in Clinical Supervision in Counselling, Psychological or Clinical Social Work practice and professional registration as Clinical Supervisor are assets.

The salary range for this position is from $50.95 per hour to $60.85 per hour (approximately $99,353 - $118,658) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
