Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Provides nursing care to critically ill patients of the Intensive Care Unit in accordance with established standards of nursing practice and the philosophy and objectives of the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) to ensure that the patients’ physical, emotional, psycho- social, educational and spiritual needs are met. Typically, the above knowledge, skills and abilities are attained by the completion of a recognized degree program in Nursing and of the two avenues of professional development:
The successful completion of a Nursing Degree and the completion of a Certificate in Critical Care Nursing with two years recent ICU/Critical Care experience.

The salary range for this position is from $47.68 per hour to $56.96 per hour (approximately $92,976 - $111,072.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
