Job Information
You will be a member of the community counselling team and provides integrated and therapeutic mental health and behavioral programming in collaboration with school personnel and other health and mental health and social services professionals. You will provide a wide range of services with an emphasis on developing therapeutic relationships with children, youth and their families! During the school year, you will be based primarily in the school, but, in order to align with the needs of children and youth, other locations may include the Community Counselling Program office, client family home or other appropriate community locations.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
A Master’s degree in Child and Youth Care, Counselling, Clinical Social Work or Education with a focus on therapeutic counselling.
The position based in Behchoko is an indeterminate opportunity, and the positions based in Gameti and Wekweeti are 1 Year Term opportunities!

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is from $47.68 per hour to $56.96 per hour (approximately $92,976 - $111,072) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $5,423 (Behchoko), or $15,797 (Gameti), or $15,567 (Wekweeti).
