Registered Nurse Ambulatory Care Clinic

Located in Yellowknife, at the Stanton Ambulatory care Clinic (ACC), the Registered Nurse reports to the Manager, Ambulatory Care and Ophthalmology Services, and is responsible for providing nursing and navigating functions to patients receiving physician special care for one or more of the following programs: Permanent Physician Specialist - General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology, Visiting Physician Specialist - Pediatric Allergist, Gynecologist Oncology, Adult Oncology, Neurology, Orthopedic Backs, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Orthopedics, Rheumatology, and Urology and Nephrology.
Knowledge and application of nursing practices including both clinical and supportive care as a Registered Nurse, at the ACC, knowledge of biological, physical and behavioural sciences and ability to utilize this knowledge to determine and implement the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Typically, the above qualification should be attained by a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and two (2) years of nursing experience.

The salary range for this position is from $45.54 per hour to $54.39 per hour (approximately $88,803 - $106,060) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
