Calling all Social Workers! We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for providing exceptional care in various communities throughout the Northwest Territories.
The team is currently welcoming applications for the following communities:
• Fort Smith – Family and Community Social Worker
• Fort Providence – Community Social Services Worker IV
• Fort Liard – Family and Community Social Worker
• Tulita – Community Social Services Worker IV
• Deline – Community Social Services Worker IV
• Fort Good Hope – Community Social Services Worker IV
• Norman Wells – Foster Care and Adoption Worker
• Tuktoyaktuk – Community Social Services Worker IV
• Fort McPherson – Community Social Services Worker IV
• Aklavik – Community Social Services Worker IV

Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Family and Community Social Worker (FCSW) – A Diploma in Social Work with a minimum of two (2) years of direct practice in the field of Child and Family Services; or a Bachelor Degree in Social Work.
Foster Care and Adoption Social Worker (FCASW) – A Diploma in Social Work and at least three (3) years of experience or Bachelor of Social Work and at least one (1) year experience.
Community Social Services Worker IV (CSSW IV) – Bachelor in Social Work with 1 year of human services experience, preferably within Child and Family Services.
The FCSW, FCASW and CSSW IV both respectively earn a salary range of:
• FCSW/FCASW: approximately $91,494 – 109,259/year or $46.92 - $56.03/hr
• CSSW IV: approximately $100,269 – $119,750/year or $51.42 - $61.41/hr
