Job Information
The position is located in lnuvik and reports to the Materials Management Officer. Functional direction will be received from Forest Management Division's Material Manager. The Regional Duty Officer will provide day-to-day direction. It is the only seasonal warehouse person position in the lnuvik Region. The incumbent may be required to travel away from home for periods of up to two weeks. The incumbent will be required to work extended hours and weekends.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of forest fire fighting and forest management equipment.
The incumbent is required to have Certification in Dangerous Goods transportation and WHMIS along with a Class 5 Driver's Licence.
Incumbents should also have a broad knowledge of procurement and inventory management.
Computer skills including word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Minimum grade 10 education is required, with good analytical and communication skills are essential in order to carry on a good working relationship with departments and outside agencies.

Salary Information
The salary for this position starts at $38.05 per hour (approximately $79,144.00 per annum) plus a pro-rated annual Northern Allowance.
