Job Information
The Out of School Care Program Provider supports the implementation of programming and supervision for all Commission scolaire francophone des Territoires du Nord-Ouest's out of school care for students ages 4 to 12 to ensure that all children are provided with safe and stimulating out of school care.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of and/or the ability to acquire and apply knowledge fundamentals of child development.
• Ability to acquire and apply knowledge of current Early Childhood program practices.
• Ability to acquire and apply knowledge of the Early Childhood Act and Regulations.
• Ability to provide general care of children.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to ensure professional and courteous service.
• Problem-solving / decision-making / conflict management and resolution skills.
• Ability to act as a role model for children.
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Completion of Grade 10 and at least 6 months of experience working in programs for children or through babysitting.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- First Aid Certificate will be required within 6 months of hire.
- Up to date vaccinations required.

The salary range for this position is from $29.56 per hour (approximately $57 642) to $35.33 per hour (approximately $68,894.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $4,711
