Are you a dedicated healthcare professional passionate about community wellness? We're seeking an enthusiastic Territorial Nurse Practitioner to play a pivotal role in supporting the Mental Health and Substance Use team.

As the Territorial Nurse Practitioner-Mental Health and Substance Use (TNP-MHSU) you will provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to health assessment, diagnosis, and clinical expertise for the Substance Use Medicine (SUM) team and client care. You will provide specialized, autonomous care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. As the TNP-MHSU you play a crucial role in the comprehensive intake, assessment, treatment, and management of clients needing mental health/substance use services, including detox support, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. As the TNP-MHSU you will provide clinical leadership as an educator, leader, researcher, and advanced clinical practitioner within the Mental Health and Substance Use team.

For this position you are required to have a Master's Degree in nursing, a Certificate as a Nurse Practitioner and One (1) year of recent mental health nursing experience

Financial and institutional support may be available for motivated candidates who are willing to pursue their post-master¿s certification in Psychiatric ¿ Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (PMHNP-BC).

Labour Market Supplement

The successful incumbent will receive a $10,000 supplement upon hire and an additional $10,000 supplement after completion of 12 months of continuous employment contingent on remaining employed in an eligible position for a further 12 months.   This is a taxable benefit and will be subject to applicable deductions
