Job Information

Join our dynamic educational leadership team at the Commission scolaire francophone des Territoires du Nord-Ouest (CSFTNO)! We are looking for an experienced and passionate educator to provide consultative and collaborative support for schools in Yellowknife and Hay River, ensuring that all students, including those with special needs, receive the support they need to succeed.

In this role, you'll collaborate with school principals and teachers in Yellowknife and Hay River, assist with the development of individualized education plans, deliver professional training, and work closely with community and government agencies to promote inclusive schooling practices.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, including at least 3 years focused on inclusive education. Proven experience in developing and implementing modified education programs, along with expertise in areas such as staff development, literacy, educational psychology, or student support services, is essential. Strong communication, collaboration, coaching, and assessment skills are key to succeeding in this role as well as an advanced level of French.
