Smetana (CNC), 1 6; Norman Wells, 21 .VIII. 1948, J.R. Vockeroth (CNC), 1 2. These are the northernmost and first confirmed records of A. cupripenne for the Northwest Territories. The previous record from the Territories (Beaulne 1915; without precise locality) was considered as doubtful by Lindroth (1966: 591). The species was previously known in Canada from Vancouver (British Columbia) to Cape Breton Island (Lindroth 1966:591).
