Habitat
collected from debris among vegetation in a temporary creek, others were taken by sifting leaves and debris at the edge of a deciduous forest and also from flood debris (A. Smetana, pers. comm.). Some specimens were found in swampy areas, in an old beaver lodge and on carrion. Specimens were collected at altitudes up to 2651 m.
