Western NWT to Newfoundland, south to eastern Texas and Florida (Dondale et al. 2003). In the NWT, the species is recorded from Hay River, Wrigley, Yellowknife, Norman Wells, Nahanni National Park Reserve, and Fort Smith (Dondale et al. 2003, GBIF, Loboda et al. 2013).

A total of 32+ records of this species have been reported for the NWT, including from Hay River, Wrigley, Yellowknife, Norman Wells, Nahanni National Park Reserve, and Fort Smith (Dondale et al. 2003, GBIF, Loboda et al. 2013). Records from Loboda et al. (2013) do not include the number of specimens collected; the number of observations could therefore be greater than 32.
