8 mi. se. Fort Simpson, 18.VI. 1972, A. Smetana (CNC), 3 66; Fort Simpson, Harris River, 10.VI.1972, A. Smetana (CNC), 1 8, 2 YQ. These are the northernmost and first records of P. rudis for the Northwest Territories. The species was previously known from a few scattered localities from Newfoundland to British Columbia (Lindroth 1961:59).
