General distribution Nearctic. In Canada, the species has been recorded from the NWT, Nunavut, and Quebec. This species was originally described based on material from California, and it cannot be ruled out that Hammer's records may actually belong to T. bella (see Fjellberg 2015) (in Babenko et al. 2019).
