This species is known from 5 locality records in the Northwest Territories: Aklavik, Reindeer Station (formerly Reindeer Depot), Granet Lake (Griffiths 1998), Fort McPherson, and Colville Lake (localities inferred from distribution map (fig 2281) in Griffiths (1998)). In addition, this species is present in the low arctic and alpine area and therefore is likely to be more widespread in the territory than just in the north. As well, this species is also present in surrounding regions (YT, BC, AB) (Griffiths 1998), so external input could be expected. Hence a wide range was selected: 6->300.
