A guide to species in the Northwest Territories currently listed, or under consideration for listing, under federal and territorial species at risk legislation, 2018 edition.
Ever wonder how to easily track wildlife in the winter? A pilot study in the Sahtu Region collected such information helping to achieve the regional coverage necessary for monitoring changes to wildlife distribution brought about by industrial development, natural disturbance and climate change. Environment and Natural Resources’ issue #15 of the NWT al Research Bulletin (NERB) series is now available and highlights Tracking Wildlife in the Sahtu Region. Bulletins are issued regularly here to provide a summary of research findings or concepts for NWT residents and northern resource decision makers. Please feel free to circulate broadly.
