Number of Occurrences

Salmita Mines, Anderson R, Aklavik (R198) 83 records known from 5 localities (all in the northwest: Kugaluk River, Anderson River, Ft McPherson, Inuvik, Nicholson Pt) and one additional location from Lindroth (Salmita Mines 64°05' N, 111°15' W),. Ecology: This is the most pronouncedly arctic N. American species of Agonum, barely occurring below forest limit. On soft, marshy ground at the margin of pools and ponds (Lindroth 1961-1969 The ground-beetles of Canada and Alaska, parts 1—6).
