Distribution

Greenland, Alaska to Newfoundland, southeast to Maine with isolated localities in Wyoming and Washington (Duperre 2013). New England, northern Canada (from Newfoundland to the Yukon) and Greenland (Saaristo & Koponen 1998). In the NWT, the species has been recorded from the area of Tuktoyaktuk.

Number of Occurrences

There are a total of four records from the NWT. Duperre (2013) noted two records from the NWT: one from the Involuted Hills (1980; four specimens) and one from Tuktoyaktuk (1971; three specimens). Saaristo & Koponen (1998) include two records for the NWT: one from Tuktoyaktuk (two specimens) and one from the Involuted Hills south of Tuktoyaktuk (two specimens). Additionally, Saaristo & Koponen (1998) include another record attributed to the NWT; however, this is in error (Belcher Islands, Sanikiluaq, Nunavut). References: (1) Duperre, N. 2013.
