Habitat
Collected in moist sites, like bogs and shores, and in alpine heath, and is also found in forests and human-influenced localities (Saaristo & Koponen 1998).

Nearctic (Duperre 2013). Rocky Mountains, northern North America (Saaristo & Koponen 1998). In the NWT, the species has only been confirmed from Norman Wells. Other records of this species apparently exist for the NWT but none can be located.

Number of Occurrences

Presence of this species in the NWT is noted by Paquin et al. (2010), but the specific location of records is not noted. GBIF includes four records of this species from Norman Wells.
