In Canada, this species has been recorded from the Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, Ontario, and Quebec. General distribution uncertain because of confusion with other blind congeners. Modern reliable records are restricted to western Europe and Greenland. The presence of this species in the Nearctic needs additional confirmation (in Babenko et al. 2019).
