Economic/Human Considerations

Camnula pellucida is mainly a grass feeder and sometimes causes severe damage to cereal crops. It is one of the primary pest grasshoppers in Canada. Since its numbers are known to be restricted by lower temperatures, increasingly warm temperatures in the north may lead to higher populations.
