Range may extend north to Yellowknife region, not widespread (Gordon 1985; A265). Previous observation from 2014 determined to be seven-spotted lady beetle, not nine-spotted lady beetle (A266) (recent record: 62.405, -114.372319, shoreline Yellowknife Bay, B. Fournier 15 June 2014). However, a new photo observation was recorded on iNaturalist in spring 2023 (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/161630525), with identification further confirmed (P. Catling/B. Kostiuk and D. McCorquodale).
