Status Rank Description:
This species is widespread (Holarctic) and occurs across Canada. However, while in S Canada, it is highly synanthropic (and perhaps introduced, in part), northern populations (presumably those from NT) occur in natural habitat and are presumably autochthonous. It is likely widespread in NT, a generalist of open habitats, but NT is under-surveyed and more occurrences are expected.
