Distribution

Northern North America from Alaska across to Labrador and south into Montana. In Canada, there are records from Alberta, Manitoba, and Labrador, in addition to the NWT. In the NWT, the species has been recorded from near Inuvik, Great Bear Lake, and Great Slave Lake (Chamberlin & Gertsch 1958).

Number of Occurrences

There are a minimum of six records from the NWT, at three different sites: Pearson Point, Great Slave Lake (multiple records, males and females, July 10 and August 12-15, 1947 by D.S. Rawson), Reindeer Station (a male, female, and subadult, July 1948, J.R. Vokeroth), and Sawmill Bay, Great Bear Lake (female, June 13, 1948, D.F. Hardwick) (Chamberlin & Gertsch 1958).
