The species is recognized as present in NT by NatureServe and Kartesz 1999. A single collection consisting of one small plant with a single flower head is present at DAO. species removed with revision (Paul Catling); one specimen with a question mark; Kartesz99 also cites Scoggan 1978-79 who lists species at Tree River (Mackenzie) with specimen at CAN, but no specimen found searching CAN online (even with many various name searches!); other herbaria online searches are negative
