Female Age at Maturity
Mature males have been observed between mid April and late July, while mature females have been observed throughout the year (when considering their entire global range) (Platnick & Dondale 1992).
Habitat
Specimens have been collected in grasslands, in litter in deciduous and coniferous forests, swamps, and marshes, and on beaches (Platnick & Dondale 1992).
Distribution
Distribution
Alaska to Newfoundland, south to Colorado and New Jersey; Russia. In the NWT, the species has been recorded from Wood Buffalo National Park, the Mackenzie Delta area and further south up the river, and near Colville Lake, Wrigley, Fort Simpson, Fort Providence, Yellowknife, and Norman Wells (Platnick & Dondale 1992, Loboda et al. 2013, GBIF).
Number of Occurrences
There are a total of 16 records of this species in the NWT. Platnick & Dondale (1992) include seven records from the NWT: two from the Mackenzie Delta area, one from along the Mackenzie River in the Tsiigehtchic area, one near Colville Lake, one near Wrigley, one near Fort Simpson, and one near Fort Providence. Additionally, there were an unknown number of occurrences in Norman Wells and Yellowknife reported by Loboda et al. (2013).
