Status Rank Description: 
A disjunct occurrence in northeastern British Columbia at Liard River may be attributable to an unusual hot spring environment (Cannings and Stuart 1977 in Catling 2006). The location is near to southwestern Northwest Territories where a number of hot springs occur.
Decision Process Description: 
Added in 2014 (S. Carriere) based on list of possible additional species in Catling (2006). Reviewed in 2020, no change.
