Distribution

No doubt ranges widely in the forests of the Territories, although as yet known only from Fort Simpson, Cameron Bay (Great Bear Lake) and Yellowknife (CNC data). Probable range extent based on wide range in boreal and western mountain forests is roughly 700,000 km2 (GeoCAT). One of the few Holarctic asilids; occurs across Eurasia.
