Considering their global range, observations of this species have occurred throughout the calendar year (Millidge 1987).
Habitat
The genus as a whole is adapted to moist conditions. Habitat for this species includes meadows, prairie, forest litter, moss, sphagnum, ditches, lakeshores, sand dunes, and salt marshes. In Oregon, the species has been recorded living in pitcher plants (Millidge 1987).
Distribution

Distribution

In North America, the species has been recorded from much of the United States, with observations particularly concentrated in the northeastern United States. In Canada, the species has been recorded from Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan, in addition to the NWT. In the NWT, the species has only been recorded from Hay River. Recent records of the species have been noted in Germany; likely a import from the United States (Millidge 1987).

Number of Occurrences

There is only one record of this species in the NWT; from Hay River (as synonym Eperigone trilobata) (Millidge 1987). Reference: Millidge, A.F. 1987. The Erigonine Spiders of North America. Part 8.
