Simpson Area: 27.9 miles S of Liard River crossing on Mackenzie Highway & 1.2 miles W of junction with Liard Highway, 2 in Nahanni NPR; Infrequent and scattered throughout the Territories (ALTA, CANM, NY, UBC). Also cited in Steere 1977, Steere & Scotter 1978b and Damsholt 2006 (C). Restricted to calcareous fens and bogs (Schuster 1969), this species is uncommon throughout its Canadian range (H291).
