General Biology

Female Age at Maturity

Considering their global range, mature males have been observed between late April and mid August, while mature females have been observed between late April and mid September (Platnick & Dondale 1992).
Habitat
Specimens have been found in plant litter or among stones in aspen, lodgepole pine, and spruce forests; and in alfalfa fields, sagebrush, salt marshes, and tall grass prairies (Platnick & Dondale 1992).
Distribution

Distribution

Alaska to Manitoba, south to California and New Mexico; Asia. In the NWT, the species has been recorded from Tuktoyaktuk, Norman Wells, Fort Simpson, and Yellowknife (Platnick & Dondale 1992, Loboda et al. 2013).

Number of Occurrences

Platnick & Dondale (1992) note four records of this species in the NWT: one in Tuktoyaktuk, one in Norman Wells, one in Fort Simpson, and one in Yellowknife. Loboda et al.
