Habitat
On calcareous soil in tundra or exposed dry sites. Specimen collected on Cape Bathurst by P. Sokoloff occurred on turfy frost boils and was associated with Deschampsia cespitosa, Primula borealis, and Salix arctica.

Additional collection on Cape Bathurst on August 12, 2022 by P. Sokoloff (Barcode CANL 10027390, collection 1595) ~1.1 km northwest of Mamen Lake. Abundance at site was scattered.
