General distribution Holarctic. In Canada, the species has only been recorded from the NWT and British Columbia. The records previously attributed to Manitoba are obviously based on an error by Christiansen & Bellinger (1981, p. 1246) who described the type locality of the specie as 'Canada: Manitoba - Reindeer Station'. In fact, Reindeer Station is situated in the Mackenzie River delta, NWT (in Babenko et al. 2019). Reference: Babenko, A., Stebaeva, S., & Turnbull, M.S. 2019.
