Distribution

There is only 1 locality record from the Northwest Territories: Nahanni National Park, coordinates: 61.606 -125.758; 3 specimens (BOLD). Griffiths (1997) expected this species to occur at least in the Yukon, despite not having seen any specimens from there (present in AK). It is very likely that it could be present in the Northwest Territories as well. It is also the most numerous Pegomya species caught from samples in Canada (so likely widespread even in regions where it has not get been caught) (Griffiths 1984a). There is too little information on this species to estimate a range.
