Number of Occurrences

7 occurrences from NT present in the CNC collection. Smith(1979a) indicated that that this species is widespread and would have hosts that fall under Betula, Vaccinium, and Salix. Neilson(1955) indicated that a synonym of this species, Pristiphora idiota, feeds on blueberry, specifically Vaccinium myrtilloides, V. angustifolium, V.macrocarpon which do not seem to be widespread NT, making it difficult to extrapolate the number of occurrences.
