One record from Hay River (2001); Questionable VIRA record - consider removing vagrant status in NT (H228).; There are two reports: from Falaise Lake (on the west side of Great Slave Lake) in June 1989, described as unconfirmed by Sirois and McRae (1996); and a bird heard calling along the Ingraham Trail 20 km east of Yellowknife on 4 July 2010 by Martine Dufresene and Blake Maybank (Eckert 2011). No detailed description of the call or bird is provided in the literature. This species has been reported as far north as Fort McMurray in Alberta., References: Eckert, C.D. 2011.
