adults = deep freshwater lakes (can be relatively shallow in northern locations) spawning = in shallow (1 to 30 m) areas of lakes young = usually go deeper after a month, but some remain shallow for yearsWidely distributed in the NT, the Lake Trout exhibits lacustrine, riverine (rare in the NT), and adfluvial life history types (Richardson et al. 2001; Evans et al. 2002) with multiple forms occurring in larger lakes (Blackie et al. 2003).(B172)
