Small regional distribution in SW NWT with only four occurrences and present within three ecozones.The species is likely naturally rare since it is also considered imperiled (S2) in AB and BC and is present in a specialized habitat (springs); the species is also listed as rare in B036 (H151). One extra site found north of Norman Wells and 3 extra sites between Wrigley and Willowlake River on pipeline route (RSC14) most of them near springs.
