As per the NT/NU spills working group agreement, ECCC is lead agency for spills that are located on lands occupied by Department of National Defense. ECCC is closing the spill file: The spill has been terminated and contained. The spill has been cleaned up to acceptable environmental/regulatory standards.

Calculations based on the volume of the pipeline up-gradient of the leak as well as the amount of fuel recovered when the flange gasket was changed indicates 51L was spilled, not 10L as initially thought.
