A significant part of the historical oil/gas drilling sump of well Ikhil I-37 has eroded with the cap slumping into adjacent thermokarst ponds. The drilling waste appears on surface in cracks of slumps. Strong diesel smell is present. The exposed drilling waste produces distinct petroleum sheen (iridescence) on the surface water at the site. Required: Remediate contamination due to the release.
