The Community-Based Water Quality Monitoring Program is a partnership between communities, water stewards, and the GNWT. Together we work to track one of our most valuable assets – our fresh water. The water that flows through the NWT is essential to ecosystem health, and to the social, cultural, and economic well-being of all residents.
In a letter dated July 13, 2022, the Department of Environment and Climate Change (ECC), informed Digaa Enterprises Ltd. (Digaa) that they were required under section 95 of the Wildlife Act to submit a Wildlife Management and Monitoring Plan (WMMP) for approval by the Minister.
