Ejié Túé Ndáde (Eh-jzhe-twé-in-DA-deh), also known as Buffalo Lake, River and Trails, is an area of approximately 2,180 km² in the southeastern corner of the Dehcho region. The candidate area includes the western portion of Ejié Túé (Buffalo Lake) and Ejié Túé Dehé (Buffalo River).
The Ka’a’gee Tu (kah-gee-too) Candidate Area is approximately 9,600 km². It is situated in the south-eastern corner of the Dehcho region and includes a large portion of the Kakisa River watershed.
Saoyú (saw-you) and ʔehdacho (eh-dah-cho) are two major peninsulas on the west side of Great Bear Lake, totaling 5,550 km2. These peninsulas form the Saoyú-ʔehdacho National Historic Site.
Ts’ude niline Tu’eyeta (Tsoo-den-ee-len Too-yuh-ta), or Ramparts River and Wetlands, is an area of prime northern boreal forest approximately 15,000 km2 in size. It is a rich cultural area that lies west of the Mackenzie River and the community of Fort Good Hope.
