Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) water quality data for the Hay River near the NWT/Alberta border in July 2020, compared to historical GNWT (2011-2019) and Environment and Climate Change Canada (1988-2019) water quality data. Long-term monitoring helps us understand how water quality is changing over time and provide context for current water quality data.
Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) water quality data for the Slave River in July 2020, compared to historical GNWT (1982-2019, at Fort Smith) and Environment and Climate Change Canada (1960-2019, at Fitzgerald) water quality data. Long-term monitoring helps us understand how water quality is changing over time and provide context for current water quality data.
The purpose of the preliminary screening is to determine whether there might be any significant impacts on the environment or significant public concerns with the establishment of a Thaidene Nëné Wildlife Conservation Area.
