The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is hosting training workshops for Mentor-Apprentice Program (MAP) participants in Inuvik and Yellowknife. Media are invited to attend the workshops, where they can experience the language program firsthand and talk to MAP participants and organizers with the Indigenous Languages and Education Secretariat.

Media are invited to attend a media availability with Premier Cochrane to discuss the meeting of the Council of the Federation held in Victoria, BC on July 11 and 12, 2022.
